The ALC Soccer Tournament was organized in a World-Cup style, with a total of 10 teams. Each team was made up of 6 players, with at least one girl player on each team. All players had to be current students at the ALC, except for one team which was made up of teachers.
Preparations for the Tournament took a few weeks, during which coaches Steve DeRoza and Soufiane Choubani had students from different levels and age groups sign up for the event. The teams were then collected, team captains appointed and selected players contacted.
On the day of the Tournament, group soccer games started in the morning, and after lunch, players took part in the semi-finals and finals. The games were 20 minutes long each.
