The annual ALC baseball game – picnic mixed with rain, wind, and a whole lot of fun.
Just another beautiful day at the ball park! Well, almost. This year, the annual baseball
game and picnic was hampered by Mother Nature’s elements. Many of the American
LanguageCenter’s teachers and the Access Students proved that without a doubt, we
could still have fun at the ball park. The day led off with a bus ride to an
open field and reading a set of rules and basic concepts of how to play the game of baseball.
After arriving to the designated field of play, we split the group of over 40 Students
into two teams. Then it was game time. Lastly, enjoying Hamburgers, chips, and
pop. We also found some time to go out and do some sightseeing by the river.
Take me out to the ball game!!!
