Latifa Raounaq, Young Learner specialist at ALC Meknes, has been selected to give a presentation at the 2011 TESOL Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Latifa’s presentation will deal with students from the U.S. Department of State Access Program, a microscholarship program serving non-elite youths. Her presentation will discuss how the students’ course of study and activities at the ALC Meknes have affected their lives.
Latifa was chosen in a competitive process sponsored by the U.S. Embassy and the Regional English Language Office. The competition was open to all Access sites in Morocco.
Latifa will spend one week in Washington, D.C. for professional training and then will travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, for the conference.
